Hmm, this is actually a great idea. I think most people who need self-help don't have the time to go to the psychiatrist and have a formal consultation. Now, if only self-help materials can come to them using modern technology, that would be great. And smartphones like the Iphone or Sidekick can be the most helpful to patients, since they have access to this anytime. It would be a great tool for self-help.

Thanks for commenting, Elliott. There are more and more apps for clinical self-help coming out all the time. Try going to your app store and looking them up by topic. There is even one for sex addicts who are trying to stop abusing technology and need to 'check in' to a support group or be reminded of principles to follow.
